Application / Jury Process

The Clinton Art & Music Festival is a juried show open to all artists and craftspeople showing original work. Our mission is to celebrate both the visual and performing arts with presentations of diversity and high quality. With over 40 performances in many locations throughout the village and 1,000's of people attending the festival opportunities abound for the artist to present and sell their work.

Location
Located in the Village of Clinton, nestled between
Utica and Syracuse on Rt. 12B

Booth Space
The average booth space is 10’ x 10’. Each artist must provide their own display equipment and tent. The Festival tries very hard to make every space a good space. A request for additional space will be handled on an as needed basis. Demonstrations are encouraged with additional space provided at no extra charge. All artists must personally attend their exhibit and be present during the Festival.

Standards
All work displayed must be consistent with images submitted. All work should reflect excellence in design and workmanship, original and crafted by the artist.

Application Deadline: June 30, 2009
Applicants must present 3 slides or digital images of their work and a SASE for return of disc or slides. All images should include the artist name, title, media, size and date and a dot in the top right corner (slides only). Accepted artist images will be kept for promotional purposes and returned on the day of the event. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by email no later than July 15, 2009. Applications submitted after that date will be handled on a first come first serve basis and will be assigned spaces after all other artists have been placed.

Sales Tax
Artists are responsible for collecting NYS Sales tax.

Late application fee (after 6-30-09) $20
